Slow Practices
Slow Practices is an idea for handwritten.blog: a shared invitation each month to slow down, pay attention, and make something by hand.
How it works
- An operator chooses a practice and writes a short invitation.
- People try it in their own time and make a handwritten page about what they notice.
- They publish it on their own blog and add it to the practice's collection, where everyone can browse the responses.
A practice could be listening to a song, taking a slow walk, or returning to the same view each day.
Next month brings a new practice. Earlier invitations and responses stay in the archive.

What an operator does
You'd choose the practice, write the invitation, and encourage people to take part. I'll take care of the website.
